Happy 23rd to me
Thursday, January 17, 2013 6:50 pm

I love the transition from December to January because Christmas falls in December and my birthday in January! I know even though I'm another year older now, I thank God for giving me such youthful features that I can still pass off as an 18-year-old. I'm also very thankful for the patient people who took the time to celebrate this special day with me. Love you guys deep deep!

and yes, that's four birthday songs hehe

Does anybody use Blogger anymore? Last I blogged was in May 2012 and that's like EIGHT months ago! I doubt anyone still pops by.

Where got timeeeee?
Friday, May 11, 2012 10:10 pm

My pathetic break lasted only two weeks and I'm back in school again. Oh joy. I doubt my heart and mind is in the right state of mind to start mugging. Hopefully I'll get in tuned soon.

So welcome to this trimester's most exciting modules, or so my lecturers say. Exciting? Yeah, maybe. Tough? HELL YES.

The moment of truth.
This trimester's modules: Media and Globalisation, Campaign Management and Media Audiences.

Not only has the word limit for our essays increased to 3000, we have weekly assignments and group work. For campaign management we'll be working with clients in the industry and I'm sure it's going to be such an eye-opening experience. I'm already bracing myself for all the drama that is to come. Trust me, there'll be.

On the bright side, these are my final three modules before I graduate in October! *Throws confetti* I'm sure I'll have no trouble clearing them, it's just a matter of how well I do. Speaking of that, I just received my grades for last trimester's modules. Well, they're not too bad although I've confirmed my suspicions that I've been plagued by the one mark curse. It's the 928374th time I've missed the distinction grade by ONE mark. Argh.

Toughest three months yet.
BRING IT ON.

Couldn't be happier

Things are looking up again and I really hope it stays this way.

They say love finds you when you least expect it and I can't agree more! Who knew a "Chindian Outing" could bring two souls together? Well, definitely not me. I was starting to become more skeptical about life, boys and what not but sparks were flying all over the place that fateful night. Hehe

Deep down, I knew something special was about to happen and it has!

April 30, 2012; here's to a new beginning.

Hello, hello!
Thursday, April 26, 2012 12:57 am

I thought it's about time I pay this good ol' place a visit. Didn't want all those years of blogging at hazelnutts to go to waste just like that! In a really odd way, this blog, amongst many other new media sites I've signed up for in the recent years, has a special place in my heart. I highly doubt any of my avid readers still pop by ever since I "abandoned" it two years ago.

BUTBUTBUT, if there's a single soul out there who's still reading, say "hello!" okay? Don't be shy. HAHAHA

I need your feedback!
Would you readers (if there's still any) prefer me to upload ALL my photos or just a few of them to summarize a particular event?

Finish it once and for all.

My apologies! This is the long overdue set of photos I took in Bali, most of them are just random shots of things/places. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to catch any cute surfer boys there. HAHAHA

Date: 23rd - 26th April 2010
Destination: Bali
Day: 2, 3, 4

That's our hotel. I wouldn't say it was awesome.
That's me and KaiYin and again, Singapore's really small.
We have mutual friends from SP! Cool or wot.
That's where we had lunch, right opposite an active volcano.
Surprisingly, houseflies were able to survive at such altitude.
They still have these.
The restaurant wherewe had lunch
All of us were attempting to take a self-shot. LOL
This was some kind of tomato
Goodness was it sourrrrrr. Bleargh.
Coca
Chilli
The different types of coffee.
I still can't understand the addiction to coffee, it's SO BITTER!
Yes, there's such a thing as male/female coffee
Here's the proof
7-11, Bali version
The very same moon seen from another part of the world~
Dinner by the beach, complete with fireworks :)
Ignite this flame again, will you?
Seafood dinner, looks kinda gross right? LOL
Why do they cover the horse's eyes? SOMEONE EXPLAIN PLEASE!
Hard Rock Bali~
As seen outside Hard Rock
Managed to snap a decent shot.
The Spa~
MY VERY FIRST SCUBA DIVING EXPERIENCE
The diving suit was wayyyyy oversized, it was embarrassing.
The sun was glaring too.
Sail away~
ALL ABOARD!
We were the only 2 females there
All those who wanted to have a shot at diving
Hello hello~~
HUNGRY! LUNCH AFTER THE DIVE
Coordinators
We had Chinese food for dinner.
That's our tour guide. He's a funny man with a contagious laugh.
Everyone who went :)
Boarded SIA.
I'm kinda fascinated with shots taken from the aerial view.

Dang, now I feel like travelling somewhere further, perhaps out of Asia? Time to start saving those moolah baby!
